Collectible magazine series
A partwork is a publication issued in sequential installments, typically weekly or biweekly, designed to be collected and bound into a complete reference work or series.
Common in Britain, partworks often cover specialized topics—building model ships, learning a language, or compiling an encyclopedia: I subscribed to that dinosaur partwork but stopped after issue twelve.
