pallet jacks
Manual load lifters
A pallet jack is a wheeled tool used to lift and move pallets in warehouses, loading docks, and retail stockrooms.
The basic manual version has two forks that slide under a pallet, with a hydraulic pump operated by the handle to raise the load just enough to clear the floor for transport.
Powered versions, sometimes called electric pallet jacks, add a motor for lifting and propulsion.
The stockroom crew used pallet jacks to unload the delivery truck.
