outcasted

Expelled from society

Outcasted is a nonstandard past tense and adjective form of outcast, used where standard English would use simply outcast: The outcasted members formed their own group.

Since outcast already functions as both noun and adjective, outcasted is redundant—but it appears in casual speech and writing, perhaps by analogy with words like ostracized.
