orangs
Borneo's red apes
Orangs is the plural of orang, a shortened form of orangutan—the large, long-armed apes native to the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra.
The clipping comes from the Malay words for "person of the forest." The orangs swung effortlessly through the canopy.
