oil-based cleansers

Greasy makeup removers

Oil-based cleansers are skincare products that use oils to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and excess sebum from the face.

The principle is that oil attracts oil, lifting impurities more gently than soap.

Often used as the first step in double cleansing: I use an oil-based cleanser before my foaming wash.
