novel readers
Literary audience members
Novel readers are people who read novels—works of long-form fiction.
The term usually implies habitual engagement rather than occasional reading: Novel readers tend to develop strong preferences for certain genres.
It can distinguish those who prefer fiction from readers of nonfiction, poetry, or short stories.
