Lack of favoritism
Nonpreference is the absence or lack of preference, a state of having no particular inclination toward one option over another.
It appears most often in legal and administrative contexts, where nonpreference status means someone receives no special treatment or priority: Nonpreference applicants are considered after veterans.
The term also surfaces in discussions of voting systems and consumer behavior to describe neutrality among choices.
