nonjudgment

Withholding all criticism

Nonjudgment is the practice or quality of refraining from evaluating others or their actions as right or wrong.

The term appears most often in therapeutic and spiritual contexts, where nonjudgment is treated as a skill to cultivate: Mindfulness requires nonjudgment—observing thoughts without labeling them good or bad.
