nocturnal hunting

Nocturnal hunting is hunting that takes place at night, typically for animals that are active after dark.

The practice requires specialized skills and equipment—night vision, thermal imaging, or lights—since visibility is limited.

Some game animals like coyotes, wild boar, and raccoons are legal to hunt nocturnally in certain jurisdictions: We're going nocturnal hunting for hogs this weekend.
