ninja sword
Assassin's silent weapon
A ninja sword is a straight, short-bladed Japanese sword associated with ninja warriors, distinct from the curved katana used by samurai.
Whether historical ninja actually used such swords is debated—much ninja weaponry derives from popular fiction.
In martial arts and gaming contexts, the term evokes stealth and assassination: He equipped the ninja sword for close-quarters combat.
