nightcore
Fast anime music
Nightcore is a style of electronic music created by speeding up existing songs—typically by 20-35%—raising the pitch to produce high, often anime-like vocals.
The genre emerged from the Norwegian DJ duo who coined the term, blending "night" with "hardcore." Nightcore remixes proliferate on YouTube and streaming platforms: I found a nightcore version of that song that's actually better than the original.
