national administration
Country's ruling body
The national administration is the executive branch of a country's government—the president or prime minister and the departments and agencies they oversee.
The term often refers to a particular leader's tenure: the Obama administration, the Thatcher administration.
In American usage, administration typically means the current governing team in the White House, while British English more often uses government for this sense.
