musical games
Rhythm-based party activities
Musical games are activities that combine music with gameplay, typically involving movement, timing, or elimination based on musical cues.
The classic example is musical chairs, where players circle seats while music plays, scrambling for a spot when it stops.
The term also covers video games centered on rhythm or music performance: Guitar Hero and Rock Band dominated the musical games genre in the 2000s.
