moon shoes
Strap-on mini trampolines
Moon shoes are a toy consisting of small trampolines strapped to the feet, designed to let children bounce while walking or jumping.
The name evokes the low-gravity bouncing of astronauts on the moon: I begged my parents for moon shoes after seeing the commercial.
They were especially popular in the 1990s.
