minute taker
Notes the proceedings
A minute taker is the person responsible for recording what happens during a meeting—the discussions, decisions, and action items.
The role may be assigned to a secretary, rotate among participants, or fall to whoever volunteers: We need a minute taker for today's session.
The minutes they produce become the official record.
