microbrewed
Craft-scale beer production
Microbrewed describes beer produced by a microbrewery—a small, independent brewery making limited quantities, typically with emphasis on craft, quality, and distinctive flavors rather than mass-market appeal: a selection of microbrewed ales, locally microbrewed lager.
The term emerged in the 1980s as small breweries proliferated in response to homogenized commercial beer.
