melon head
Not very bright
Melon head is a mildly insulting term for someone perceived as stupid or foolish, the melon suggesting an oversized, empty head.
It can also describe someone with an unusually large or round head: Look at that melon head—he can't find a hat that fits.
The insult is playground-level, more teasing than truly offensive.
