maple forest
Syrup trees together
A maple forest is a woodland where maple trees are the dominant species.
Such forests are particularly associated with northeastern North America, where sugar maples create spectacular fall foliage and support maple syrup production.
We hiked through the maple forest as the leaves turned gold and crimson.
