malignity
Intense ill will
Malignity is the quality of being deeply malicious or harmful—evil intent that goes beyond ordinary ill will.
Where malice might be petty or passing, malignity suggests something more profound and enduring: the sheer malignity of the attack shocked investigators.
The word also applies to diseases or conditions that are dangerously severe: the malignity of the tumor.
