long sight
Near vision difficulty
Long sight is a condition in which distant objects are seen more clearly than close ones, the opposite of short sight.
The technical term is hyperopia or hypermetropia.
Someone who is long-sighted may need reading glasses to focus on nearby text.
The term is more common in British English; Americans typically say farsighted or farsightedness.
