local fairs
Community celebration events
Local fairs are community events featuring some combination of games, rides, food vendors, agricultural exhibits, and entertainment, typically held annually in a particular town or county.
They range from small-town harvest celebrations to larger county fairs with livestock competitions and carnival midways: We took the kids to the local fair for funnel cakes and the Ferris wheel.
