live tweeting
Broadcasting events instantly
Live tweeting is posting a running series of tweets as an event unfolds in real time—a conference, awards show, sports game, or television broadcast.
The practice creates a shared commentary experience: I'll be live tweeting the debate tonight.
It can also serve as informal journalism, documenting breaking news or protests as they happen.
