live location
Constantly updating position
Live location is a real-time GPS position shared through messaging apps or social media, updating continuously as the person moves: I'll send you my live location so you can find me at the festival.
Unlike a static pin drop, live location tracks movement for a set period—typically fifteen minutes to several hours.
The feature serves both convenience and safety, letting friends coordinate meetups or family members monitor each other's whereabouts.
