lithium-7
Seven-nucleon alkali variant
Lithium-7 is the most common isotope of lithium, containing three protons and four neutrons.
It makes up about 92% of natural lithium.
The isotope has applications in nuclear physics and is used in some nuclear reactor designs as a coolant component.
Its lighter sibling, lithium-6, is rarer but more significant for nuclear weapons production.
