linerboard
Corrugated box facing
Linerboard is the flat outer layer of corrugated cardboard, the smooth surface you see on the outside of shipping boxes.
It sandwiches the wavy fluted medium between two sheets, providing strength and a printable surface.
The term belongs to packaging and paper manufacturing: The mill produces linerboard for the containerboard industry.
