lens correction
Optical aberration compensation
Lens correction is the process of fixing optical distortions introduced by camera lenses.
All lenses bend light imperfectly, causing barrel distortion (bulging outward), pincushion distortion (pinching inward), chromatic aberration (color fringing), or vignetting (darkened corners).
Photo editing software applies lens correction automatically or manually to straighten lines and restore accurate geometry: I applied lens correction to fix the fisheye effect.
