league record
Division's best mark
A league record is the best performance ever achieved within a particular sports league—the most points scored in a season, the fastest time, the longest streak.
It stands as the benchmark against which all participants in that league are measured: She holds the league record for assists.
Breaking a league record means surpassing what anyone in that competition has done before.
