lawn seating
Picnic blanket territory
Lawn seating is general admission seating on a grassy area at an outdoor amphitheater or concert venue, typically behind the covered seats closer to the stage.
It's usually the cheapest option: We couldn't afford pavilion seats, so we got lawn seating.
Concertgoers bring blankets or low chairs and accept obstructed views in exchange for lower prices and a more casual atmosphere.
