launch trailer
Release day promo
A launch trailer is a promotional video released to announce that a video game, film, or other media product is now available.
Unlike teasers or gameplay trailers released during development, launch trailers mark the official release date: The launch trailer dropped at midnight when the game went live.
They typically combine cinematic footage with review quotes or accolades.
