knee MRI
Leg joint imaging
A knee MRI is a magnetic resonance imaging scan of the knee joint, used to diagnose injuries to ligaments, cartilage, tendons, and bones.
It's the standard diagnostic tool for suspected ACL tears, meniscus damage, and other soft tissue problems that X-rays can't reveal: The doctor ordered a knee MRI after the twisting injury.
