kitschiness
Cheap aesthetic appeal
Kitschiness is the quality of being tacky, gaudy, or tastelessly sentimental—art or décor that tries too hard and lands somewhere between endearing and embarrassing.
The term often carries affection alongside judgment: The kitschiness of the velvet Elvis painting was part of its charm.
Something's kitschiness may be unintentional or deliberately campy.
