keyserver
Public credential host
A keyserver is a computer that stores and distributes cryptographic public keys, allowing users to look up keys for encrypting messages or verifying digital signatures.
Keyservers are central to systems like PGP, where users upload their public keys so others can find them: I uploaded my new GPG key to the keyserver.
The term sometimes extends to servers that manage software license keys.
