subkey
Encryption's inner component
A subkey is a secondary key derived from or subordinate to a primary key.
In cryptography, subkeys are generated from a master key for use in specific rounds or operations of an encryption algorithm.
In databases and registries, a subkey is a key nested within another key, creating hierarchical organization: The setting is stored in a subkey under HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
In music, subkey can refer to a secondary or related key in a composition.
