keg parties
Beer barrel bashes
Keg parties are social gatherings, typically among college students or young adults, where beer is served from one or more kegs rather than individual bottles or cans.
The keg serves as both practical bulk purchase and social centerpiece: We threw a keg party after finals.
Often associated with fraternity houses, backyard celebrations, and the red plastic cups used to serve the beer.
