jumbles

Mixes things up

Jumbles are things mixed together in a disordered way, or the act of mixing them: a jumble of papers on the desk, a jumble of emotions.

To jumble is to mix up or confuse: The movers jumbled all our boxes together.

In British English, a jumble sale is what Americans call a rummage sale.

Jumbles are also a type of simple, ring-shaped cookie.
