jiggy

Moving with rhythm

Jiggy means lively, energetic, or uninhibited—often with sexual undertones.

The word gained mainstream currency from Will Smith's 1998 hit "Gettin' Jiggy wit It," where getting jiggy meant dancing, partying, or hooking up.

Outside that phrase, jiggy sees limited use, though it occasionally describes nervous energy: I get jiggy before job interviews.
