isochrone
Equal-time boundary line
An isochrone is a line on a map connecting points reachable within the same amount of time from a given location.
Urban planners use isochrones to visualize transit accessibility: The isochrone showed everything within a fifteen-minute walk of the station.
The term comes from Greek roots meaning "equal time." As an adjective, isochronous describes events occurring at regular intervals or taking equal time.
