An infinity loop is a loop of material twisted once before joining the ends, forming the shape of the figure eight or infinity symbol (∞).
The term appears most often in fashion, describing scarves worn this way: She wrapped the infinity loop around her neck twice.
In programming, the related term infinite loop describes code that runs endlessly without stopping.
