incompetency
Lack of ability
Incompetency is a less common variant of incompetence—the lack of ability, skill, or qualification to do something properly.
It appears most often in legal contexts, where a finding of incompetency may affect a person's right to stand trial, manage their affairs, or make medical decisions: The court ruled on her mental incompetency.
