Visual display space
An image gallery is a collection of images displayed together, whether in a physical space like a museum or, more commonly now, on a website or app where photos are arranged for browsing.
Galleries typically show thumbnails that expand when clicked: Scroll through the image gallery to see all the wedding photos.
The term covers everything from professional portfolio displays to the default photo app on a phone.
