hunting lease
Land access agreement
A hunting lease is a contract granting someone the right to hunt on private land for a specified period in exchange for payment.
Landowners lease hunting rights to individuals or clubs, typically for deer, waterfowl, or other game: We've had a hunting lease on that property for fifteen years.
Leases may be seasonal or year-round, and often include rules about which animals can be taken and how many hunters may access the land.
