house remix
Dance floor version
A house remix is a version of a song reworked in the style of house music—typically adding a four-on-the-floor beat, synthesized basslines, and a tempo around 120-130 BPM.
Pop songs often get house remixes for club play: The house remix of that track is way better than the original.
The term distinguishes this treatment from other remix styles like drum and bass or dubstep.
