hokeypokey

Group participation dance

Hokeypokey is a participatory children's song and dance where participants put body parts "in" and "out" and shake them, following along with the lyrics: You put your right hand in, you put your right hand out.

In New Zealand, hokeypokey is a type of honeycomb toffee, often used as an ice cream flavor.

The word also appears as an older variant of hocus-pocus, suggesting trickery or nonsense.
