grocers

They stock produce

Grocers is the plural of grocer—people who sell food and household supplies, or the shops they run.

The word persists in greengrocer (a seller of fruits and vegetables) and in the possessive form for stores: I'm heading to the grocer's.

In American English, grocery store has largely replaced grocer as the standard term.
