graham

Coarse flour type

Graham refers to a type of whole wheat flour, or foods made from it, named after 19th-century American dietary reformer Sylvester Graham.

Graham crackers are the most familiar use—slightly sweet, cinnamon-flavored rectangles often crushed for pie crusts: a graham cracker crust for cheesecake.

Graham flour retains more of the wheat kernel than standard flour.
