graduate seminars
Post-baccalaureate discussion classes
Graduate seminars are small, discussion-based courses for students pursuing advanced degrees.
Unlike undergraduate lectures where professors deliver information to large audiences, seminars expect participants to come prepared, having done the reading, ready to analyze and debate: The graduate seminar met weekly to discuss primary sources.
Enrollment is typically capped at fifteen or fewer students.
