graduand
Soon to graduate
A graduand is a student who has completed their course requirements and is about to receive a degree but has not yet formally graduated.
The term distinguishes someone in the brief window between finishing studies and the graduation ceremony: The graduands assembled in their robes before the procession.
Common in British and Commonwealth universities, less so in American English.
