gossiper

Spreader of hearsay

A gossiper is someone who habitually shares rumors or personal information about others, often behind their backs.

The word carries a mildly disapproving tone—gossipers trade in other people's business: She's such a gossiper, I can't tell her anything.

The spelling gossiper is less common than gossip used as a noun for the same person.
