golf outings
Links-based social events
Golf outings are organized golf events, typically combining a round of golf with social or business purposes.
Companies host golf outings for clients, charities use them as fundraisers, and groups arrange them for reunions or celebrations.
The term usually implies a planned group activity rather than a casual game: The annual company golf outing includes lunch and prizes.
