gatecrashing
Entering without invitation
Gatecrashing is entering an event without an invitation or ticket—showing up at a party you weren't asked to, slipping into a concert without paying.
The term evokes literally crashing through a gate.
Someone who does this is a gatecrasher: Security caught three gatecrashers at the wedding reception.
The verb is gatecrash: We gatecrashed the afterparty.
